What files can Wise Office open?
The direct editors focus on DOCX, XLSX and PPTX, with PDF viewing/editing through the shared workspace and Wise Publish projects in WISEPUB. The wider VersePDF ecosystem supplies additional conversion routes for many document, image and data formats.
Does Wise Office send documents to third-party AI providers?
The product is designed around VersePDF-controlled/self-hosted processing paths and browser-local editing. Connected external services, when deliberately chosen by the user, remain separate from the core private processing path.
Can I edit PDFs?
Yes. PDFs opened through VersePDF mobile or the workspace go directly to the PDF viewer/editor. Scanned-image text may require OCR before text-level editing.
Does it support macros?
Wise Office can preserve and run Wise automation/macros in sandboxed document runtimes. Wise macros are not falsely represented as Microsoft VBA.
What is Wise Publish?
Wise Publish is the desktop-publishing surface for posters, flyers, brochures, business cards, labels, newsletters, invitations, programmes, banners and other print-oriented layouts.
Can Wise Publish help after Microsoft Publisher retires?
Yes for many desktop-publishing workflows. It is a separate Wise format and workflow rather than a claim of one-to-one Microsoft Publisher compatibility. Existing .pub files can be routed through the supported import/conversion path before continued editing in Wise Publish.
Is there an API?
Yes. Supported VersePDF document-processing operations are available through the Developer API. Interactive browser editing stays free; API quotas and billing are separate.
